But what set this shopping center apart for me is how relaxed I felt. I didn't feel unsafe and I saw how everyone was relaxed and having a good time. That is something that has been lost in many parts of the Bay Area, including the dumpster fire I call home, Oakland. Just 30 minutes away from thug life and I'm in a modern utopia.
