Things You Can Do With Your San Ramon/Danville Library Card

National Library Week is the first week of April!

By Lauren Illingworth May 2, 2024

It's National Library Week April 7 to 14, and we thought we'd take the opportunity to highlight some of the more unique offers the San Ramon/Danville library has available to check out ... other than books!

At the San Ramon/Danville Library you can:

Discover & Go

Discover & Go is a program provided by your library that offers free and low-cost passes for museums, science centers, zoos, theatres, and other cultural destinations.

California State Park Pass

Anyone who has a Contra Costa County Library card can borrow a park pass at no charge.  The park passes are available for one three-week checkout. The Library Parks Pass is valid for vehicle day use at 200+ participating state park of the California State Park System operated by State Parks.

Lucky Day

The Library’s Lucky Day collection includes many popular, new and bestselling titles. What makes this collection unique is that these items may not be requested or put on hold. They are placed in a special location at each community library waiting for a lucky customer to check them out

The library, of course, also has plenty more to discover, from books to DVDs to regular events like Paws to Read and Legos and Listening. You can always find all San Ramon/Danville library events on our Macaroni KID San Ramon/Danville calendar! https://sanramonca.macaronikid.com/events

Stop by Danville Library (or one of the many in our area) during National Library Week and explore! What interesting thing can you find?
