Spring Break Fun in Danville/San Ramon

Parks and Playgrounds

Danville and San Ramon boasts an array of beautiful parks and playgrounds where families can enjoy picnics, leisurely walks, and playtime. Here are a few of our favorites:

Oak Hill Park

Oak Hill Park features a small lake that supports a variety of wild birds, including migratory ducks and geese. The mature trees, verdant lawns, and level pathways that surround the lake offer abundant picnic and recreational opportunities.  Adventurous visitors to Oak Hill Park will enjoy a scenic hike or horseback ride along the trail that meanders through the hills overlooking the park. An exercise course is incorporated into the trail. Here too is the site of the All Wars Memorial. The playground has recently been refurbished and super fun!

San Ramon Central Park

A beautiful 40.8 acre community park that is one of San Ramon's favorites. This popular park has fields, grassy areas, picnic tables and more!

It has a great playground with a children's participatory fountain that has hours 10am - 5pm daily starting April 1st.
